Nature not the threat

It appears that society is intellectually and logically challenged with presumptive US Supreme Court Justice's nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, response to Tennesse's Senator Marsha Blackburn's request for Judge Jackson Brown to define a woman (NY Post 'Woman Trouble' 3/24/22).  The Judge said that she couldn't because she was not a Biologist.  I guess Biology, and in particular, the XX chromosomes, that are unique to a biological woman, was not taught at Harvard, her Alma Mater.

Lia Thomas, a biological male, was permitted, by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to compete as a woman, (3/17/22) against other biological women, in the 500 freestyle National Championship, which Thomas won.  According to the NCAA, Thomas had met the testosterone threshold to become a woman.  And if not to be outdone, USA Today, on March 20, named Rachel Levine, a biological male, as one of their "Women of the Year".  Admiral Levine serves as Assistant Secretary of Health. Talk about chutzpah by USA today!

On March 25, in a quest to shield vulnerable children, Governor De Santis of Florida, signed the Curriculum Transparency bill, to make school curriculums more transparent, to allow parents to have a say in protecting their children, from being exposed to "incredibly disturbing" inappropriate material.   Some sexually graphic books were now in some school libraries.

New York's State's, unelected, Governor Kathy Hochul is planning on giving preference, for Marijuana licenses, (The New York Times 3/9/22) to felons, or their relatives, who had previous marijuana convictions.  The misguided goal is to empower more "equity entrepreneurs" who, in the past had served longer prison sentences.

With all of this asinine and insane behavior, from those, apparently lacking the wisdom of the Biblical Solomon, we should have little fear of so-called Global warming.  These officials, and publications, seem to be a more imminent existential threat, to the public, by dumbing-down logic and common sense.
