Caribbean Rum Punch Recipe

Caribbean rum punch is perhaps the number one of most visitors' requests of alcoholic beverages in the islands. Each island / bartender has their own method of preparation. The result never changes: Very enjoyable but also very potent if consumed in large quantities. Enjoy !
Ingredients: Freshly Ground nutmeg
1 cup fresh lime juice
2 cups simple syrup
3 cups amber rum
4 cups orange juice
4 dashes bitters 
                                                                     
                                                                      


              
      
    

                                                                      

Directions:

 In a pitcher , combine lime juice simple syrup, rum and orange juice. Add a few dashes of bitters and some grated nutmeg to taste.
